Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

I walked in the sun today for two hours! I photographed gorgeous colorful tulips and enjoyed every moment. Natural grace in the form of a flower!

This tulip caught my eye, it was a different shape and isolated from the rest, but it sang! What a gorgeous testimony to individuality.

A walk to the park . . .

Luka and Naomi and I took a walk to the park from Fairhaven this morning! Spring has SPRUNG! What a gorgeous day in the Northwest! It was great to walk outside and see the sun, camera slung around my neck and no need for a jacket. I got some fun shots of the kids. Check it out!

Spokane Bridal Festival 2010!

I just returned from the Spokane Bridal Festival this last week. What an experience. I had the chance to meet hundreds of brides and their families. It was a great experience and I have to say a great boost to hear all the great feedback from so many different people!

I also had the chance to get to know my neighbors at the booths next door to mine. Two very talented woman! Tasha Gordon of Outside the Box Artistic Design, who is a very talented painter and does an incredible job. Check out her stuff at www.otbartisticdesign.com

Also, I met an incredible make up artist and charismatic person, Jaime Stephens and her business is called Blush. Her work is really well done and she can be contacted at j.blush@hotmail.com

Overall it was a great time of connecting with others in the business and getting my feel for Bridal Fairs.

A New Blog for a New Website!

I am incredibly excited to announce my new website and my new blog! I have been working really hard over the past months to get my website up and running the way that I have dreamed of! So stay tuned for posts on my journey as a photographer coming up soon!
